What is HeaderFlames.com?

First off, let's state what this web site is not. It is not an e-zine or an event results site, and it is not associated with other web sites or internet message boards in any way.

The purpose of this web resource is to serve as a conduit between members of the online drag racing community. While this site has a definitive slant towards the retro scene, it is by no means restricted to that.

Who may join as a member?

Participation is limited to registered members. Your level of affiliation will determine your eligibility. Racers/Owners, Crew, News Media, Event/Track Promoters, Team Publicists, and Manufacturers are especially welcome to join. We encourage all visitors to utilize this resource as it is intended.

Why do I have to register with my name?

Our message board will be the focus point for interaction. This is a restricted and moderated board and membership is required. Mature and open participation is the linchpin of the message board and therefore, everyone must register with their full name, no pseudonyms.

What if my membership application is rejected?

Since it is impossible for our Membership Committee to know each applicant personally we have developed an additional method for candidates to become members. A person may apply for membership if; they are affiliated in an operational capacity with drag racing, and follow the steps below.

• An existing member in good standing must refer the applicant.
• The applicant must pay a one-time, non-refundable fee of $100.00.

What other benefits are there?

HeaderFlames.com is a member's only web site, however, some parts of this site are open to the public. Membership does have its privileges, including but not limited to;
